Would a fund by any other name still have the same strategy? Apparently not.
$754.5-million
Strategic Investor CSVAX will be
known as
Columbia Global Dividend opportunity as of August, reported
Morningstar.
With the change in name comes anew strategy for the
Columbia Management [
profile] fund -- no more investing on small caps, convertible securities and special situations. Instead, the renamed fund will focus on income-producing securities and foreign companies.
PMs for the fund are
Steve Schroll,
Laton Spahr, and
Paul Stocking. This triad replaced
Emil Gjester and
Jonas Patrikson who stepped down from the position after a lackluster record.
