BusinessInsider recently
interviewed Vanguard founder
Jack Bogle regarding the
the Nobel Prize of Economics awarded to
DFA muse
Eugene Fama.
As always, Bogle had some interesting things to say in the article.
For example, when Bogle heard that Fama would be associated with indexing, he expressed surprise.
"He's clearly a brilliant economist," Bogle is quoted by
Business Insider. "He's right some of the time."
"When he had a chance to start an index fund, he did not do it," he said.
Also, on the subject of Fama's
efficient market hypothesis, Bogle said: "EMH is sometimes correct and sometimes incorrect."
