The initiative serves as a central location for advisors to choose from vendors who have agreed to provide their products and services at a discount. Made accessible through LPL's resource center, this program allows advisors, program managers, and their staff to review third party products and services that's intended to increase business.
"We recognize that technology is a major contributor to creating increased efficiency and driving greater productivity in our clients’ businesses," Fetter states.
The program currently has more than 50 vendors -- whose products and services are discounted ranging between 10 to 80 percent. Vendors were selected based on their experience with advisors, and having met security and compliance requirements.
"At LPL we remain committed to developing smarter and simpler ways to do business," states LPL president
Dan Arnold.
