"I am excited to transition my career to a huge passion in my life — Catholic education — and apply my skill set to fundraising for the Christian Brothers' District of Eastern North America," Dombroski
stated.
Frank Heavey, executive director of Expect Miracles Foundation, tells
MFWire that in light of Dombroski's departure,
Cassidy Billings
and
Jaime Waldecker
have been promoted to management roles.
"We basically divided Maggie's role between the two of them," Heavey says.
During Billings' three years with Expect Miracles, she has worked in operations, her most recent title being development and operations manager. Waldecker, who has been with the foundation for almost two years, most recently served as development and events manager.
Dombroski spent seven and half years with Expect Miracles, overseeing fundraising events such as the
Expect Miracles in Manhattan Gala. After breaking a fundraising
record in 2019, Expect Miracles has continued to
host fundraisers, even with the
social distance restraints imposed by the coronavirus pandemic.
In addition to her time at Expect Miracles, Dombroski held positions at the American Cancer Society, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Lamar Advertising, and the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundations. She earned her undergraduate degree from Providence College.
