Global Investment Systems Ltd. (GIS), a supplier of specialized accounting software for the securities industry, has announced the appointment of Mary Pizzichino as Director of U.S. Sales and Marketing.

Pizzichino will be responsible for overseeing the development of sales and customer relationship management, and for directing the marketing strategy for the North America and Caribbean regions.

Prior to GIS, Pizzichino was a senior vice president and product manager at Sungard Shareholder Systems where she was responsible for product development, sales and marketing, and customer relationship management.
