Six companies with mutual fund businesses (down from nine
last year) are among the 136 most ethical companies in the world, according to a company that specializes in corporate standards.

Today,
Tim Erblich, CEO of
Ethisphere,
reveals the firm's
2022 edition of its list of the
World's Most Ethical Companies. This is the 16th annual edition of the list.
Fund firms (and fund firm parents) on this year's list include:
BMO (a
five-time honoree);
Prudential (parent of
PGIM and an
eight-time honoree); the
Hartford (a
13-time honoree);
Thrivent (an
eight-time honoree);
TIAA (an
eight-time honoree and parent of
Nuveen); and
Voya (a
nine-time honoree).
The winners will be
honored on April 12 with a virtual gala, featuring keynotes by the sports broadcaster
Ernie Johnson and the actor
Matthew McConaughey.
