At the beginning of 2022, Voya Investment Management bought Tygh Capital Management, bringing the whole TCM team on board. The deal was unveiled in November 2021.
Jeff Curtis and Richard Johnson co-founded TCM in 2004, and they were its principal owners prior to the sale to Voya IM. The Portland-based firm specializes in small and smid cap growth investing.
