Ocean Park Asset Management is a tactical, quantitative asset managemer that offers mutual funds and ETFs.
Ocean Park is part of the Sierra Group of Companies. Ken Sleeper and Dave Wright, the group's owners, founded Sierra Investment Management (SIM), a retail wealth management RIA, in 1987. In 1988, they launched Ocean Park, a model portfolio and SMA shop.
In 2007, the Sierra companies entered the mutual fund space. The Sierra Mutual Funds were previously powered by the group's Wright Fund Management LLC, but on December 21, 2023, Wright shifted to the Ocean Park brand of its sibling.
In July 2024, Ocean Park launched its first four ETFs, all actively managed. The team also revealed plans to rebrand the Sierra Mutual Funds under the Ocean Park name in the fall of 2024.
