Passport Research is investment advisor to the Edward Jones Money Market Fund. A sister organization, Olive Street Investment Advisers, is the advisor to Edward Jones' Bridge Builder mutual funds.
Until 2016, Passport was a joint venture between broker-dealer Edward Jones and money market mutual fund giant Federated Investors, with Federated owning 50.5 percent of Passport and Edward Jones owning 49.5 percent. In 2016 Edward Jones bought Federated's stake in Passport while keeping Federated on as the subadvisor to the money fund advised by Passport.
