Founded in April 2008 by three veterans of Wachovia Securities - Michael Jones, Rod Smyth and Doug Sandler. Riverfront established its business managing separate accounts for clients.
Riverfront launched its first three mutual funds on August 4, 2010 as part of ALPS' Financial Investors Trust Series. The Riverfront Global Allocation Series' initial fund lineup included: Riverfront Moderate Growth and Income (80/20); Riverfront Long-Term Growth and Income Fund (70/30); and Riverfront Moderate Growth and Income (50/50).
