Brad Alford founded Alpha Capital Management in Atlanta, Georgia in 2006 as an open architecture, independent RIA. In addition to hedge funds and funds of funds, Alpha offers two mutual funds, both launched in January 2011: the Defensive Growth Fund and the Opportunistic Growth Fund.
The alpha team prioritizes catastrophic loss aversion and absolute return in their strategies.
Value Line acquired the Multi-Alternative Fund from Alpha Capital Management LLC in 2016. Alpha is still the subadvisor on this fund.
