Phil Bak launched ACSI Funds' first ETF in November 2016. In 2017, the Michigan-based ETF shop debuted its second ETF and entered the subadvisory business for other firms' ETFs, too.
In January 2018, ACSI Funds rebranded as Exponential ETFs. Exponential, in turn, is a dba for CSat Investment Advisory. At the end of 2019, Exponential divided in two: Exponential ETFs, for its proprietary ETFs; and Exponential Capital Markets, for its subadvisory business.
