John Ruth, a financial advisor in Jefferson City, Missouri, and Matt Dines, an Amazon alumnus in Seattle, Washington, teamed up to launch Build Asset Management at the end of 2018. Their initial focus has been on offering new fixed income options to 401(k)s and other retirement plans, and Build does so through its own CITs and SMAs.
