Darren Schuringa, founder and former CEO of Yorkville Capital Management, LLC and Exchange Traded Concepts, LLC (ETF), now leads ASYMmetric ETFs, LLC. (Schuringa is also president and CEO of ASYMmetric ETFs' parent, ASYMmetric Holdings, Inc.)
ASYMetric ETFs is a Gotham ETF shop that focuses on bringing hedge fund-like market neutral strategies to individual investors. ASYMmetric Investment Solutions, LLC (another ASYMmetric Holdings subsidiary) serves as index provider to the funds.
The ASYMmetric ETFs team launched their flagship ETF, the ASYmmetric 500 ETF (ASPY) in March 2021, then rebranded it that October as the ASYMmetric S&P 500 ETF. They added two more ETFs in February 2023.
