Speculation continues to 
percolate about the future of 
Legg Mason [
profile], with reports now saying that interim CEO and sales chief 
Steve Sullivan is seen some as likely to get the job full time, according to 
Reuters reporter Jessica Toonkel.
It is believed Sullivan is one of four final candidates, the story notes.
Toonkel notes that the board is expected to meet today and could decide on a replacement for 
Mark Fetting, who left the firm in September.
Legg Mason spokeswoman Mary Athridge did not comment for the Reuters story.
