Dreyfus's [profile] executive vice president in charge of broker dealer distribution, Joseph Fuschillo, has departed, a Dreyfus spokesperson has confirmed.

The firm issued this statement on the development:

Joe Fuschillo is no longer with the firm. 

Andrew Provencher, who joined BNY Mellon in June as Head of U.S. Retail Sales, is in the process of evaluating and further enhancing our sales and distribution efforts moving forward.

Fuschillo joined Dreyfus in February, 2012, leading the firm's relationship management, internal sales and in-market wholesaling efforts for national broker-dealers and independents, according to his Linkedin page.

Before that, he was chief distribution officer for nearly two years at American Independence [profile].

Before that, he was executive vice president and head of distribution for Prudential Annuities.

Fuschillo also worked for UBS [profile] for 21-years, serving as managing director and head of distribution, and before that, senior vice president and national sales director.

Meanwhile, the conductor of BNY's sales and distribution evolution, Provencher, was brought on as head of U.S. Retail Sales in June.

As head of U.S. Retail Sales, he is responsible for leading all sales and relationship management through the Dreyfus platform focusing on National Wirehouse firms, Registered Investment Advisor, Independent Broker Dealer and Private Banking platforms.

Provencher reports to PeterPaul Pardi, head of BNY Mellon Investment Management Global Distribution.

He joined from Gold Bullion International where he headed business development since 2011.

Before that, he was with Neuberger Berman for 18 years in a series of progressive sales positions including national sales manager for managed accounts, director of business development, and managing director and head of the advisor solutions group, intermediary distribution and strategic relationships groups.

He started his career as an assistant portfolio manager and trader with Diamant Asset Management.
