For every door that closes, another one opens.

Chuck Baldiswieler, who officially resigned today from TCW Funds, has already found a new role: president of Angel Oak Capital.

Baldiswieler joined TCW in 1995 and recently served as Group Managing Director, President and CEO of TCW Funds, Inc., directing the U.S. based distribution efforts of both TCW Funds and MetWest Funds through the Financial Intermediary Marketplace as well as the Private Client Services and Retirement group.

Baldiswieler Joins Angel Oak Capital Advisors, LLC as President



ATLANTA--Angel Oak Capital Advisors, LLC announced today that Chuck Baldiswieler has joined the firm as President, where he will focus on key strategic initiatives for the company. “Chuck brings deep industry expertise and a proven track record to Angel Oak. We are extremely excited about adding someone of his professional caliber and extensive experience to our firm,” says Brian P. Smith, Managing Director of Sales and Marketing.

Mr. Baldiswieler joined TCW in 1995 and recently served as Group Managing Director, President and CEO of TCW Funds, Inc., directing the U.S. based distribution efforts of both TCW Funds and MetWest Funds through the Financial Intermediary Marketplace as well as the Private Client Services and Retirement group.

Mr. Baldiswieler earned a BA from the University of Maryland in Finance and Marketing. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
