Two current fundsters, a fundster-turned-VC, and a boutique mutual fund firm won praise as innovators this week, thanks to an advisor-focused trade publication.

The InvestmentNews team revealed this year's winners of the pub's Icons & Innovators awards, which include 11 individual winners (one icon and ten innovators) and 13 firm winners.

On the individual side, the winners included a pair of fundster enterpreneurs: Bruce Bond, CEO and co-founder of Innovator Capital Management, an ETF shop; and Amy Domini, founder and chair of Domini Impact Investments, an ESG fund firm. Another familiar face on the list is former fundster Mark Casady, who now leads Vestigo Ventures.

Among the "innovative firms" on InvestmentNews' 2021 list, there is one mutual fund firm: Brown Advisory.
