A former fundster chief will help guide a big department store chain.

On Friday, Marie Chandoha joined
the board of directors for Macy's, Inc.
. (Chandoha is one of two new directors who joined
the New York City-based retailer's board that day. The board now has 14 members.)
Chandoha, age 60, also serves
on the board
of State Street and as an advisor
to Zoe Financial. She previously led Charles Schwab Investment Management before retiring
back in 2019

Before taking over CSIM in 2010, Chandoha led BGI's global fixed income business. Earlier, she had fixed income roles at WFAM, Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse, and Morgan Stanley, and she also worked at the Fed. She is an alumna of Harvard University.
