started at Tidal Financial Group
as head of marketing and communications, confirms du Plessis. Her start date was on November 27 and she reports to Gavin Filmore

Du Plessis most recently came from Roundhill Investments
, where she was director of marketing. Dave Mazza
, chief strategy officer at Roundhill Investments, declined to comment.
At Tidal, Du Plessis' new duties and responsibilities will include "full oversight of all marketing, and communications for both our clients and the Tidal brand itself," the Tidal Financial Group team shares with MFWire
. The position is a new one, "created to further strengthen our marketing services for clients and increase Tidal presence as the go-to White Label ETF provider," the team adds.

Before joining Roundhill Investments last year, du Plessis had stints at Fresh Projects, Bridge Collective, and MullenLowe Group. She is an alumna of the University of Cape Town.
