A New York City area asset management sales veteran is joining a publicly traded bank's investment management arm's ETF business.

Ryan Katz SSGA Vice President, SPDR ETF Asset Manager & Hedge Fund Sales

Ryan Katz is joining SSGA as vice president, SPDR ETF asset manager and hedge fund sales, 401kWire has learned. Katz's most immediate past employer is USCF, where he was most recently national sales director.

Katz was not immediately able to comment. An SSGA spokesperson did not immediately return an email for comment. A USCF spokesperson did not immediately return an email for comment.

Katz first joined USCF in 2016, as director of institutional accounts. Before that, Katz worked with Meridian-IQ (now called Discovery Data). He is an alumnus of Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and of Florida State University.
