Last Tuesday (October 1), Dolores Bamford, co-chief investment officer and senior portfolio manager at Eventide Asset Management, LLC [profile], unveiled the launch of the Eventide High Dividend ETF (ELCV on the NYSE Arca). Eventide serves as investment advisor to the ETF, which is the first ever from the Boston-based asset manager.

ELCV's inception date was September 30 (last Monday), and it comes with an expense ratio of 49 basis point. The new fund is a series of Rational Advisors' Strategy Shares. Bamford serves the PM.

Robin John, CEO and co-founder of Eventide, puts the launch of ELCV in the context of Eventide's overall mission to help investors make "investments to honor God and serve the needs of the world."

"To serve clients who want to invest in companies that they can be proud to own, we have worked hard to create our new ETF business, which makes 'investing that makes the world rejoice' more accessible through a highly requested vehicle," John writes in a LinkedIn post. "We are confident that this new business line will allow us to reach and serve more investors than ever before."

"Our strategy is simple yet profound — businesses with good products and good practices that are led by good people will naturally produce good profit," Bamford states.

ELCV's other service providers include: Citi Fund Services Ohio, Inc. as dividend disbursing agent, financial administrator, fund accountant, and transfer agent; Citibank, N.A. as custodian; Cohen & Company, Ltd. as independent accounting firm; ACA's Foreside Fund Services, LLC as distributor; MFund Services LLC as provider of a chief compliance officer, legal administrative services, and management services; and Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young LLP as counsel.
