Fundsters interested in mutual funds focused on climate change may want to take a look at today's
Wall Street Journal. In the "Fund Track" column Sam Mamudi
reports on the recent pain suffered by such funds, thanks to defeats of new rules and programs favorable to renewable energy companies and painful to their fossil fuel competitors.
The WSJ highlights several PMs, including:
Vipin Ahuja, PM of the
Allianz RCM EcoTrends Fund [
see profile];
Colm O'Connor, PM at
Kleinwort Benson Investors and part of the team running the
Calvert Global Alternative Energy Fund [
see profile]; and Richard Mercado, PM of the London-based F&C Global Climate Opportunities Fund.
