Keith Hartstein is saying goodbye to
John Hancock [
profile].
MFWire has learned that Hartstein, president of John Hancock Funds, is retiring in September.
Hancock spokeswoman Beth McGoldrick confirmed Hartstein's impending retirement.
MFWire could not immediately reach Hartstein himself for comment.

Jim Boyle is leading a search to find a successor for Hartstein, who took over Hancock's mutual fund business in 2005. He joined Hancock 22 years ago.
