Ultimus Hires an Ex-Huntingon C-Suiter

Former Huntington Fund chief operating and chief compliance officer David Carson has joined Ultimus Fund Solutions as the servicer's vice president and director of client strategies.

Carson previously served as the chief operations officer and chief compliance officer of the Huntington Funds fund family as well as the active ETF family Huntington Strategy Shares, sponsored by The Huntington Bank, for whom he worked for 12 years.

He has also served as chief compliance officer for Meeder Financial and the Flex-funds, and also worked at Firstar Bank (formerly Star Bank) which is now U.S. Bancorp.

He is co-founder and president of Advancing Fund Governance, a forum for fund trustees and senior officers.

Ultimus Fund Solutions Announces David Carson as Director of Client Strategies



CINCINNATI—April 8, 2013 -- Ultimus Fund Solutions, LLC, one of the largest independent providers of high quality mutual fund services, today announced the addition of David Carson to its senior management team as Vice President, Director of Client Strategies.

Carson is a veteran of the mutual fund industry and for the past 12 years has held various positions of increasing responsibility at Huntington Bank. With more than thirty years of financial industry experience, he also brings a solid track record of providing exceptional service as an asset management professional dealing with diverse stakeholders. At Ultimus, his primary responsibility will be to manage the series trust product line and extend the benefits of Ultimus’ professional quality services to investment managers looking to start a fund.
