Move over Kim Kardashian, Putnam's Bob Reynolds is on Twitter.

Reynolds is one of a just handful of prominent fundsters who have embraced the up-to-the-minute social medium.

The Putnam chief executive, whose account can be found here, has -- as of 1:30 p.m. August 19th, 2014 -- 6,891 followers, follows 106 others and has sent out a mighty 680 Tweets.

Alan Reid of Forward is also on the medium, his account can be found here. He has 8,108 followers, follows 2,881 others and has Tweeted 1,591 times.

BNY's Curtis Arledge, whose account is here, has 136 followers, follows 1,455 others and has sent out 43 Tweets.

361 Capital's Tom Florence, who can be found here, has 83 followers, follows 66 and has sent out 94 Tweets.

Walt Bettinger of Schwab also has an account with 1,121 followers, following 156 others and 447 Tweets.

Meanwhile, Sallie Krawcheck, who is backing a mutual fund managed by Pax World Management, is the industry's social media maven, with over 24,900 followers, following 638 others and generating 2,536 Tweets.
