A Big Apple ETF PM died last month at the age of 42.

Jason Jin passed away on Tuesday, July 26, the VanEck team 
confirmed in a recent statement. He served as an ETF portfolio manager at the New York City-based firm.
An alumnus of the University of Buffalo, Jin worked as an analyst at Evaluation Associates before joining VanEck in 2005, shortly before the launch of the VanEck ETF business. He joined VanEck's equity ETF portfolio management team as an analyst in 2007, and in 2018 he rose to portfolio manager. He PMed numerous VanEck 
equity ETFs alongside 
Peter Liao, head of equity ETF portfolio management.
"Jason was a valued member of our ETF investment team," states 
Adam Phillips, chief operating officer of VanEck's ETF business. "Our deepest sympathies go out to the entire Jin family."
Jin is survived by his parents, his fiance, and his friends.
