Viking Fund Management was founded in 1998 by Shannon Radke, a former Integrity Mutual Funds employee. In 2009, employees from Viking and Integrity created a new company, Corridor Investors, to buy Integrity's mutual fund business and Viking, combining the two fund firms. The combined fund family uses the brand Integrity Viking Funds, with "the niche fund group" as a tagline.
Viking specializes in income-generating investments. It offers a suite of single-state municipal bond funds , dividend income funds, and energy sector funds. The firm is majority-owned by employees and lays claim to being the only mutual fund firm based in North Dakota.
