PMs

Franklin will start 2018 with a few new PMs. Franklin Series Mutual Funds will see the bulk of it, as Christian Correa starts with Franklin Mutual Global Discovery Fund, Mandana Hormozi with Franklin Mutual European Fund, and Timothy Rankin with Franklin Mutual International Fund. Correa will also work with Franklin Mutual Global Discovery VIP Fund.

Brighthouse/Artisan Mid Cap Value Portfolio is welcoming a new PM to its team this month: Thomas A. Reynolds IV. Advised by Brighthouse Investment Advisers, LLC, and sub-advised by Artisan Partners Limited Partnership, the fund is focused on long-term capital growth.

Board Members

On October 2, Ira Rothblut stepped down from his positions on the board of trustees and the audit committee of the Northern Lights Fund Trust IV. Rothblut was chairman of the committee and will be replaced by Joseph Breslin. No replacement has been named for the board seat.

Rebranding

Sierra Core Retirement Fund, a series of Northern Lights Fund Trust, will be renamed Sierra Tactical All Asset Fund on November 1. No other changes are expected for the fund.

An Eaton Vance subsidiary, Calvert Research and Management, changed the names of several funds in its Calvert Asset Allocation Funds series trust this week. On November 6, eleven funds from the series and an additional eleven Calvert funds will change names. Details below.

Launches

Vanguard launched two new fund this month with Wellington Management as the manager for both. Vanguard Global Wellington Fund and Global Wellesley Income Fund are both international, turnkey-style funds. John C. Keogh, Loren L. Moran, and Michael E. Stack will all work as fixed income PMs for each fund; additionally, Nataliya Kofman will be the equity PM for Vanguard Global Wellington Fund, and Ian R. Link will be the equity PM for Global Wellesley Income Fund.
