The folks at Dodge & Cox [profile], J.P. Morgan Asset Management [profile], Legg Mason [profile], Robeco [profile], and Vanguard [profile] will probably be busting out the champagne any moment now.

Morningstar just revealed its 2014 fund managers of the year, in five categories. The winners are:

Domestic Stock: Mohsin Ansari, Joel Fried, Theo Kolotrones, James Marchetti, and Al Mordecai, who PM the Primecap Odyssey Agressive Growth Fund, the Primecap Odyssey Growth Fund, the Primecap Odyssey Stock Fund, the Vanguard Capital Opportunity Fund, the Vanguard Primecap Core Fund, and the Vanguard Primecap Fund;

International Stock: the Dodge & Cox International Investment Policy Committee (no individuals mentioned), which PMs the Dodge & Cox International Stock Fund;

Fixed Income: Carl Eichstaedt, Ken Leech, and Mark Lindbloom, who PM the Western Asset Core Bond Fund and the Western Asset Core Plus Bond Fund;

Asset Allocation: Anne Lester and her team, who PM the J.P. Morgan SmartRetirement Target-Date Series; and

Alternatives: Robert Jones and Ali Motamed, who PM the Boston Partners Long/Short Equity Fund.

Morningstar unveiled the nominees on January 5.
