Tonight the Kansas City, Missouri-based Mutual Fund Education Alliance (MFEA) will hold its 2016 STAR Awards celebration and dinner at the Mid America Club in downtown Chicago. And before that, fundsters will gather at the club this morning for the MFEA's Marketing Council conference.

Meanwhile, today in Boston the Money Management Institute (MMI) is kicking off its two-day Fall Solutions Conferece at the Westin Copley Place in Boston.

The awards, sponsored by IMPRINT, honor firms of various sizes for "excellence in fund marketing communications" to retail investors, advisors, retirement plan participants, and retirement plan sponsors.
